This architectural gem hosts world-class concerts, comedy shows, film screenings, and special events in an intimate setting that has welcomed entertainment legends for nearly a century.
History
Seating & Venue Layout
The Orpheum Theatre features classic vaudeville-era seating across multiple levels with a current capacity of approximately 2,000 seats. The venue includes a spacious Orchestra level with 1,019 newly upholstered seats, offering excellent sightlines to the stage. The Balcony section is divided into Lower Balcony (146 seats) and Upper Balcony (781 seats), providing intimate views despite the venue’s size. Additionally, there are 30 seats in elegant side boxes that add to the theatre’s historic charm. The original 1926 configuration seated 2,350, but thoughtful renovations have prioritized comfort and optimal viewing angles. The auditorium’s design ensures that guests enjoy great acoustics and clear views from virtually any seat in the house, maintaining the intimate atmosphere that has made this venue beloved for nearly a century.
