Last Update: 03 Sep 2025

Purpose

At This Stage LA, all team members are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards in our operations. This policy ensures that every collaborator conducts business with integrity, adheres to all applicable laws, and acts without personal gain or self-interest.

General Policy

1. Gifts, Entertainment, and Payments (By the Company)

Gifts, entertainment, or payments made at the company’s expense are permitted only if they meet these conditions:

  • They align with standard business practices.
  • Their value is modest and not perceived as bribery or inducement.
  • They comply with relevant laws and ethical standards.
  • They wouldn’t harm the company’s reputation if made public.

2. Gifts, Entertainment, and Payments (Received by Collaborators)

Collaborators must not accept gifts, entertainment, or payments for personal use or without a clear business purpose. Acceptable exceptions include:

  • Common courtesies like lunch/dinner with a vendor or small tokens (e.g., calendars, pens).
  • Cash or cash-equivalent gifts (e.g., stocks) are strictly prohibited.
  • Management must not accept expensive gifts from subordinates.

3. Conflicts of Interest

Collaborators should avoid situations where personal gain conflicts with the company’s interests. If a potential conflict arises—such as ownership in an external company, a directorship, or mediation—notify management in writing immediately.

4. Confidential Information

Disclosing or misusing confidential information without authorization is strictly forbidden. Violations will result in severe disciplinary action.

5. Compliance

Any breach of this policy will lead to strict action against the responsible collaborator. Report violations to management promptly upon discovery.
