An evening at the theatre pairs best with a good happy hour before the show, so we’ve found some of the ones in L.A. to complement your upcoming theatre-going experience. (Call us when you want to do a tour around the city!)

  • The Morrison Pub

When: 3:00 PM — 7:00 PM daily
What: We *almost* didn’t share this because it’s the LA STAGE Alliance staff secret hangout. You get $6 deals on awesome drinks like a Lemon Basil Smash, Morrison Mule, Blackthorn, Scalpin and more. $6 deals on awesome stuff like the Morrison mac & cheese or nachos. Our secret insider report is that Wednesdays are Whiskey Wednesday… if you ask nicely. Whiskey! Call us if you’re headed there, we might join you. INFO.

  • Atwater Village Tavern

When: 4:00 PM — 7:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday, ALL DAY Monday and 7.5 hours on Sunday
What: On Sundays until 3 PM you can get $5 Bloody Marys, micheladas, and sweet tea vodka lemonades or $15 bottomless mimosas, then from 4-7 PM, there are $4 wells, $2 off drafts, and $5 glasses of wine.  There are even more specials (depending on the day of the week) from 4-7 PM and ALL DAY on Monday! DIVETASTIC. $3 garlic fries, $5 sliders, and $5 mac & cheese sounds awesome enough but there’s also $2 domestic beers, $3 well drinks, and discounted prices on all other apps. You cannot beat the prices here. INFO.

When: 5:00 PM — 9:00 PM daily
What: Drink up on $5 Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, and gin gimlets… all while peeking around the corner, expecting to catch a glimpse of the Log Lady or Leland Palmer. Or maybe just Smokey the Bear. Also? $3 empanadas. (There’s also a location in Atwater Village!) INFO.

When: 3:00 PM — 7:00 PM, 10:00 PM — Close
What: On Wednesdays, all food and drinks are on happy hour special (seriously), and Friday and Saturday specials include gigantic mimosas and build-your-own Bloody Marys. Plus, some big wangs.  INFO.
