Graf’s <i>Hermetically Sealed</i> Leaves Its Inkubator

Kathryn Graf and her son felt isolated in their new home in Connecticut. So Graf, whose solo show Surviving David had explored the death of her husband, wrote the new Hermetically Sealed,  inspired by her situation. It was developed in Katselas Theatre Company’s Inkubator program and now opens in a full production at the Skylight Theatre. READ MORE

Women in Theatre Honors Reynolds, Melville, Meriwether at Red Carpet Awards

Women in Theatre will present major awards to Debbie Reynolds, Lee Melville and Lee Meriwether at its 8th annual Red Carpet Awards ceremony in Burbank on Saturday at noon. Several performance groups, three other individuals and a pair of behind-the-scene volunteers at Long Beach Playhouse also will receive honors from WIT, which currently emphasizes service and outreach and is open to men as well as women.
