Beth Kennedy is a 2008/2009 Ovation Nominee for Acting Ensemble and as a producer for AS U2 LIKE IT and ALICE IN ONE-HIT WONDERLAND 2: THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS for the Troubadour Theatre Company.

What was the moment that first inspired you to pursue working in the theatre?

Sixteen years old.  First trip to NYC with my Mom.  Sitting in a theater watching Lena Horne, The Woman and her Music.  I felt awe and fear of all there was to feel.

What do you feel made the production you were nominated for particularly successful, either overall or for you specifically?

The people, the music, the words.

What project or projects are you currently working on?

Frosty the Snow Manilow at the Falcon Theatre in Burbank. And those swirling around in my head.

What do you love most about theatre in Los Angeles?

How it surprises you.

What’s your dream project?

I’ve been doing them for years with the Troubies.
